Der Workshop Ricardo Sanchis hat eine über 100 jährige Geschichte. Der Großvater von Ricardo Sanchis Carpio (Ricardo Sanchis Nacher) gründete ihn 1915. Er lernte in Madrid von Domingo Esteso (heute Conde Hermanos) und bei Ramirez.
Ricardo Sanchis Carpio lernte bei seinem Großvater und entwickelte sich weiter, so dass seine Gitarren schließlich weltberühmt wurden.
